I had an awesome holiday and when I arrived home from my trip I began battling some cold symptoms ( we have had some drastic temperature changes) so I have been drinking plenty of tea and liquids and thank the Lord I am feeling better.
Even though it’s Friend Friday (it’s Saturday) I want to still give my two cents on what I love about the trends for Spring 2011.
My Favorite trends for Spring 2011
I am loving the very flirty long dresses for Spring and Summer. This dress from Tracy Reese’s 2011 Spring Runway show is beautiful and I would rock this in a minute. Her designs completely flatter a woman’s body. Love it!
1. Flowing Dresses
2. Bam all about the color baby!
I don’t care if it’s honeysuckle pink or bright orange wear it and
make it shine, shine shine.
3. Caged Wedge Sandal
The shoe looks very sexy but refined and the style is hot.
4. Mixing plaids with prints
You have to experiment with mixing and match your plaids and prints. You will be surprise how good this works together. The only way you find out is to try a plaid and a print that has the same dominant hue of color, stand in front of the mirror and see if it compliments you.
5. White head to toe
This white suit is so chic and relaxed at the same time. I love the tie belt at the waist but I would also rock this suit with a color belt for some contrast.
Spring 2011 has something for everyone to wear and be on trend so get out there and explore. I never really go by trends I go by what looks good on my body type so in order to do that trying new things is a must to see if it looks good on me.
