   Congrats on taking the plunge to host your own site! I do too, but my fella does all the work (that’s why we started it in the first place – so he could practice his site building). It is great to have total control.

   Congrats and Happy New Year! This is a great move.

   Suggestions: add a follow widget for Networked Blogs to the side bar so folks can follow you easier. Also, don’t forget a widget for twitter, youtube, facebook etc.

     Thanks and Happy New Year to you too! Yeah, I have been working on the design so now I will add in the plug-ins. It was a little scary at first but I am getting the hang of it now.

   Good luck with the transition! I did it a few months ago (blogger > self hosted wordpress). The best thing I found was to basically google every question I had.

   Courtney is right. What you can’t figure out, you can Google it. WordPress is much more powerful than Blogger.
