JT in newsprint Lettuce Stitch Designs skirt

This past Saturday, my husband and I went to our Pastor’s Breakfast at the Ritz Carlton. It was really awesome. Our women’s fellowship asked the ladies to wear jewel tones. I teamed my red silk blouse, pink cardigan, pink rayon scarf and black lattice tights with a newsprint skirt that was sent to me from Lettuce Stitch Designs. When they contacted me, I looked at the website and this newsprint skirt caught my attention. Donna and Mary Jo, the co-founders of the company from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, were so kind to send me this American-made skirt try. I always give my honest review and do not sugar-coat the details. I could not wait to get it in the mail. I received the skirt in only two days. The skirt is very well made and easy to get on and off because the stretch is amazing.

The newsprint is really cool and looks very chic. There is no negative news on the newsprint and  the wording is not from a newspaper, an artisan created the design. Yes, I look at the words on the skirt, very detailed.

The skirt has black lettuce stitching around the edges of the waist, side seams and hem. There are no zippers, buttons, or Velcro. I just put it on, like I would a slip or a bodyshaper because the skirt has great stretch.

Stay tuned for more post on how I style the Lettuce Stitch Designs skirt with other items in my wardrobe. Thank you Lettuce Stitch Designs for giving me the opportunity to try out a really wearable skirt.
