Wearing Metallic in the daytime

Metallic scares some because it seems over the top; however it really isn’t at all. Metallic can work day or not if it’s style right. For example, the metallic lines in this skirt can easily be worn to work with a casual blouse and wedge heels. The skirt and the lining are sewn together to form a bubble peplum like effect. I purchased this skirt from Soft Surroundings about two years ago. I was always a little leary about wearing it during the day; and then I said why not and it was fine.

How do you wear metallic?
Do you save it for only evening or formal wear?
How would you rock it for daytime?

I don’t think it’s over the top at all. Frankly, I’m of the school of thought that if you like it I love it! Do you 🙂 I wore a metallic (sequined) head band. There’s a pic of it in my new fotki page

I wear metallic during the day time too just dressing it down with denim or shorts if the metallic item is a shirt. You’re not over the top at all…Working your outfit for sure.

That’s awesome you wear metallic and mix it up to make it chic.
