Day One:Thirty for Thirty

Loving The Pink!

This was suppose to be my Day One: Thirty for Thirty outfit, however I had a day off due to the frozen rain and sleet with possible snow. Well anyway I am loving the pink. This color is also the 2011 Pantone color of the year. Pink or bright fuchsia known as honeysuckle is everywhere from fashion to home furnishings.

I love how the pink in this sweater lights up my complexion and accentuates the whole outfit. Having one piece of your outfit with a burst of color whether it’s a blouse, sweater or scarf can make a world of difference because it can make you look more youthful because it adds that additional pop.

the pink is simply gorgeous on you! this is a great way to start your 30 for 30. Somewhere you mentioned that you are in Missouri. I’m from the Kansas City area, you? Snowbound for sure. Those aerosoles ought to be great for the weather.

Thanking you for stopping by. I’m from the St. Louis area so we had a lot of ice and now we are getting snow. I saw that Kansas City got a lot of snow, be safe.
I planned those boots for 30 for 30 for a reason.

I feel like I’m out of the loop because literally, the last 5-10 fashion blog sites I’ve visited, someone is doing the 30 x 30!!

I love the pops of color, especially the bright pink. I love that honeysuckle is the color of the year, I hope it means we see more of it.

J.T.: The first thing I thought of when I saw your outfit was that your are wearing Honeysuckle, Pantone’s color of the year. Well, the FIRST thing I thought was how FANTASTIC you look! The color looks so good, and the fact you paired it with light grey is sheer chic-delish-o-rama. Yes. I just made that word up. FOR YOU.
