Today was a beautiful sunny low humidity day.
What a wonderful day to go for a run and get in the zone with some really good music. When I run, my music makes me not even think about how hard i am working.
Because of my partnership with Verizon Wireless, I recently had an opportunity to demo the LG Tone Pro Bluetooth Stereo headset. This wireless headset is designed for the on-the-go person for listening to music and taking phone calls. I was curious to listen to the quality of the sound from the earbuds and how well the wireless worked.

– The headset has a comfortable, lightweight, around-the-neck sleek design. It do no like wearing anything heavy weight hanging on my neck. This headset is a perfect companion.
– I synced the headset via Bluetooth with my phone. The music sounds quite clear and I could hear the bass really well. If a call comes in, the music pauses and I can answer the call. After the call finishes, my music is there for me right where I left off.

With the wireless feature, the headset will work up 33 feet from the base station – whether it is a phone or computer and another Bluetooth device. If you keep your phone on you, you will not have problem. However, if you keep the phone in a room and leave for another location, you will find that the reception will get very spotty outside of that 33 feet range.
Long-life battery
The headset is designed for 10.5 hours of music time, up to 16 hours of talk time and up to 30 days of standby time. Charging time is less than two hours.

I hope that your week is going well! It is hard to believe that we are approaching the end of August Where did the summer? I know it’s been hot, humid and very rainy here in the Show Me State. My favorite feature of the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 is exclusively found only on the Motorola brand of mobile phones. When each of your family members has a Motorola phone, they can keep connected with each other with the app known as Moto Loop. After setting up the app, you can add members to your Loop and check-in with them throughout day. You can track their location on a map. It may be a child coming home from school or a husband who is out running errands on his day off. It can also be used for an elderly parent who is staying by themselves and need to checked on each day. Moto Loop provides that peace of mind for a mother or wife who who wants to keep her family members close at hand. The app can also be connected to your NEST thermostat to adjust the temperature and HUE lighting devices to turn lights on and off. This great feature keeps tabs on your house when you are not at home and helps keep it energy efficient as well.

This week was full, but very productive. Our church went to see the movie Ben Hur Thursday night. The movie was full of intrigue and action; so if you have not seen it yet, please go see it.
It has not been cool; but I already notice that it is getting dark outside at 8:30pm now. Well, with fall right around the corner, I have been looking for a natural chest rub because the traditional rubs in the stores are petroleum-based and I wanted something different, something more natural. I have made my own body lotions and periodically I will have to purchase my favorite oils for my concoctions. One of my favorite oils is the 100% pure Eucalyptus oil by Aura Cacia, which is very therapeutic and has a spa-like aroma. The chest rub made with eucalyptus oil is great for a rub; but it also a good stress release. I will take a little bit and massage a little on my throat or temple areas.

Natural Penetrating Chest Rub
Aura Cacia’s ingredients for a natural penetrating chest rub has only two ingredients:|
1 tbsp. of Coconut oil (unrefined)
9 drops of Eucalyptus oil
A glass jar (I used a Burt Bees clear jar)
You can massage the rub onto your chest area and you can add a warm pad for more deep penetration.
- I repurposed a Burt Bees glass jar to put the ingredients in and a stirred with a wooden dowel. The coconut oil turns to liquid when it is stirred. But don’t worry, it will solidify in time. You may want to place the jar in the refrigerator if you are in a rush to use it. The finished product is pictured below.

The smell
There really isn’t a fragrance, very light and pleasant.
Facial Routine
After I wash my face, I rub together a couple of drops of Argan oil in my hands and gently apply under my eyes and my face. The second step, I apply a small amount of the luxurious New York Biology Advanced Anti-Aging moisturizer to my face.The moisturizer absorbs into my face and eye area instantly as I massage it in. It does not make my skin feel oily. And last but an important factor, I always make sure I wear my favorite SPF before I go outside.
The Design of the Jar
The jar is designed so well that you never have to think about contamination of the product. When I took the clear top off and pushed down the white applicator of the jar the right amount of moisturizer came out that I needed. I never touched the product because of the design of the jar, so no cross contamination worries. It took me less than a minute to figure out how to use it, when I first got it I took the top off and there’s a lot of product that will last me a while.
